ADOBE ACQUIRED MACROMEDIA
Yes, this is official !!! I could've never imagined the aquisition of macromedia, and that too by none other by the only major rival 'Adobe' !!
Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) announced the aquisition of Macromedia (Nasdaq: MACR) in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $3.4 billion.
The Macromedia corporate brand will immediately be retired....
Upon seeing the logo on Macromedia.com: "Adobe | Formerly Macromedia", it just doesn't feel the same.
I think they should have left the brand alone.
